Join us as the Symphony Goes Wild! at your Birmingham Zoo on Sunday, October 4th at 5:00 pm. Made possible by the Linn-Henley Charitable Trust in honor of Don and Sandy Logan with additional support from Jennifer and Kevin Wagoner.

The Birmingham Zoo and the Alabama Symphony Orchestra - two of our city’s oldest and most beloved institutions - present a one-of-a-kind family event that blends the magic of live symphonic music and the enjoyment of the animal kingdom! At a special event after hours at the zoo – including activities to engage with animals and instruments – the Orchestra will bring to life beloved, animal-inspired music with a concert for families under the stars. This immersive experience is an enchanting way to explore the power of music in the heart of your Zoo!

Pre-concert activities for all guests will include after-hours access to ambassador animals, the reptile exhibit, and the Alabama Wilds barn. Other activities include face painting and an “instrument petting zoo.” Concessions will be open for the entire event, so guests can grab food, bring blankets, and enjoy an evening of music on the lawn. Outside food and beverages may not be brought into the event.

In addition to your VIP Silver tickets that reserve your seat, you have the option to pre-order commemorative chairs for the event that you can take home as a souvenir to remember your time at Symphony Goes Wild! The deadline to order chairs is Tuesday, September 15th. 

VIP Silver gives you reserved seating and access to the pre-concert reception with heavy hors d'oeuvres and an open bar on the balcony and terraces overlooking the zoo. As the sun sets, VIP Silver guests will be asked to head to their reserved seats along the rock wall in the plaza overlooking Henley Lawn. Following the concert, VIP Silver guests are welcome to return to the balcony for a meet-and-greet with the conductor, Daniel Cho.
